This Shipping Policy outlines all the details regarding order processing, shipping methods, delivery timelines, costs, and related procedures for orders placed on our website, www.totosunpet.com. 1. Order Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays) after payment is confirmed.
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST or on weekends/holidays will begin processing the next business day.
- During peak seasons (e.g., holidays, major sales events), processing times may extend slightly. We will notify you via email if there are any significant delays.
2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers
- Primary Service Area: We currently ship primarily within Canada. We are exploring options to expand our services to the United States and other international destinations.
- Shipping Carriers: We partner with reliable carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx to deliver your orders. The specific carrier and service level will be selected based on your location, package size/weight, and the shipping method you choose at checkout.
3. Shipping Methods, Costs & Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address, the total weight of your order, and the selected shipping method.
Standard Shipping (Within Canada):
- Estimated Delivery: 5-10 business days after order shipment.
- Cost: Calculated at checkout. Free Standard Shipping may be offered on orders over a specified amount during promotional periods.
Express Shipping (Within Canada):
- Estimated Delivery: 2-5 business days after order shipment.
- Cost: A flat fee or calculated rate will be displayed at checkout.
Please Note:
- Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Delays can occur due to carrier processing, weather conditions, customs (for future international shipments), or unforeseen events.
- Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or statutory holidays in Canada.
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our warehouse. You can use this number to monitor your package’s progress on the carrier’s website.
4. In-Transit & Delivery
- Shipping Address Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring the shipping address provided at checkout is complete and accurate. Toto Sun Pet Bakery Ltd. is not liable for packages lost or undeliverable due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Address correction fees or reshipping costs may apply.
- Delivery Attempts: Carriers will typically make 1-3 delivery attempts. If a package cannot be delivered, it will be held at a local carrier facility for pickup. A notice card will usually be left. Please follow the instructions on the card promptly, as packages may be returned to us if not retrieved within the carrier’s hold period.
- Failed or Refused Deliveries: If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts (e.g., no one available to sign, incorrect address) or is refused by the recipient, the customer is responsible for the original shipping costs and any return shipping fees. To receive the order, you will need to pay for re-shipping. If you do not wish to have it re-shipped, we will process a refund for the merchandise cost ONLY, minus the original and return shipping fees, once the package is received back at our facility.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking number(s) and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. You can also log into your account on www.totosunpet.com to view the status and tracking information.
6. Taxes & Customs Duties
- Sales Tax: All applicable Canadian federal and provincial sales taxes (GST/HST/PST) will be added to your order total at checkout based on your shipping destination.
- International Duties & Taxes (For Future Services): For any future international shipments outside of Canada, the recipient is solely responsible for paying all applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or VAT levied by the destination country. These fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are payable upon delivery or pickup. We cannot predict or control these charges.
7. Missing, Damaged, or Lost Packages
- Package Marked as Delivered: If your tracking information shows the package was delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors, your building’s management, or any safe drop-off locations. If still missing, contact us at perseverance@totosunpet.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date, and we will assist you in opening an investigation with the shipping carrier.
- Damaged Package: If your package arrives damaged, please take photos of the shipping box and the damaged product before opening it fully, if possible. Contact us immediately at perseverance@totosunpet.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and get you a replacement or store credit as per our Refund and Returns Policy.
- Lost in Transit: If your package tracking has not updated for an unusual period (exceeding the estimated delivery timeframe by more than 7 business days), please contact us. We will initiate a trace with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will ship a replacement to you at no additional cost, subject to product availability.
8. Order Changes & Cancellations
- We are unable to modify a shipping address or order contents once an order has entered the “Processing” or “Shipped” stage.
- To cancel an order, you must email us at perseverance@totosunpet.com immediately after placing it. We will attempt to cancel it if it has not yet been processed for shipment. If the order has already shipped, you will need to follow our Refund and Returns Policy upon receipt.
